M00 - The Modular approach

The Modular Approach
The SpanSet modular training approach has been set up to offer a clearer explanation of the options available in Fall Protection and Rescue Training. This makes choosing the correct training for your employees quicker and easier. It also allows you to clearly demonstrate the level of training received and the topics covered to any potential clients.

Each Module sets out the following:

  • The course duration
  • The instructor to delegate ratio
  • The course content
  • Course content is split between theory and practical sessions
  • The equipment that is utilized during training

Careful selection of the modules allows the training to be tailored around the client's specific requirements and all at standards prices and with proven consistency and quality.

Certification
Each certificate clearly states which modules have been completed and together with the module sheets will clearly show what your staff are qualified to undertake. All modules are certificated in accordance with standard for safety training published by the American Society of Safety Engineers; ANSI/ASSE A490.0-2001.

Tailor Made Courses
SpanSet Inc can if requested, tailor make courses to suit your requirements. We try to match your needs using the current modules and add in extra components as you require. When integrated with standard modules you are able to get the highest level of consistency with the costs of tailor making being kept to a minimum.

SpanSet Also Provides;

  • Fall Protection Training for Law Enforcement
  • Fall Protection and Rescue Training for Emergency Services
  • Fall Protection Training for Military Personnel
  • Safe Lifting Courses
  • Cargo Control Training

How it works
The basis of all courses is Module M01 Authorized User, Height Safety Equipment and Inspection course. This provides all trainees with a solid foundation in safe work at heights from which they then move on to the practical module to complete their competency. The practical module is one chosen to best suit their needs. Trainees can then choose extra modules to further enhance their qualifications and skills. This also allows employers to have better skilled employees with specific height training.

To progress to other modules you must successfully complete all prerequisites as stated for each module.
