ES 03 - Occasional Climber

3.5 hours / half day

Pre-Course Instructions and Entry Requirements:

(Modules ES01 and ES03 are one complete day)
All candidates must be able to certify that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that may prevent them working at height.
SpanSet Inc Reserves the right to exclude unsuitable candidates from training courses.
Candidates must be 18 years of age or over.

Overview:
This course has been designed for those Emergency Personnel who intend to access masts, towers or similar structures using existing pre-installed safety systems. It also intended for those who wish to then use work positioning techniques.On completion of the course they should be able to carry out pre-use checks and use pre-installed access systems on mast and towers. They should also be able to position themselves safely to undertake their work tasks. During the training candidates will be expected to carry out tasks at height. This provides an insight to the candidate’s suitability and aptitude for operating at height. This is only an indication of the candidate’s ability as it is not possible to re-create the exact working environment. They will have an awareness of the requirements for Rescue when working with Fall Protection Equipment.
